Acro

Acro combines classical dance technique with precision acrobatics and artistic gymnastics. MKD students will learn to execute elements like handstands, cartwheels, needles, illusions, chest stands, and aerials just to name a few. With strength and flexibility being important, emphasis is placed on extensive conditioning and stretching as well as strength training. Instructors are trained and certified using professional spotting techniques to ensure the safety of all students. 

Please note: Fitted clothing must be worn, baggy clothing will be considered a safety risk and may exclude the student from participating in certain skills. Please also refrain from wearing jewelry in class as this is also a safety hazard.
